While the games may sound different, hole.io stole the core concept of the highly original Donut County and turned into an inexpensive ripoff, played by millions. The difference between the two is small and large simultaneously: as Donut County is strictly a story-driven game and hole.io is simply players eating things with holes, trying to become large enough to eat each other first.
